El Bueno Coffee Roasters Kerehaklu Estate Culture Washed - 250g, Espresso is a 100% single-estate Selection 9 Arabica from Kerehaklu Estate in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, India. The coffee is grown at 3,800 ft and processed using a culture-washed method with 40 hours of anoxic fermentation.
The medium-light roast delivers a delicate, layered cup with jammy berry notes, roasted walnut and soft brown sugar sweetness. El Bueno particularly recommends pour-over, AeroPress and drip brewing for this coffee and recommends drinking it black when you want to taste its fermentation-driven fruit character most clearly.
This 250g option is ground for Espresso. El Bueno's official Espresso recipe uses 15g (1.5 tablespoons) of coffee, a target yield of 30g, a 1:2 coffee-to-water ratio, 94C water temperature and a target brew time of 3035 seconds.
